15.5. Exit Bratislava debuts as the 3rd most added to radio in US on CMJ Electronic charts
The compilation of Slovak electronic artists had 34 adds to the CMJ Electronic charts in the US radios last week which made it the 3rd most added release in the USA. Good start, don’t you think?
The compilation is available worldwide on iTunes and also on Bandcamp in the Czech republic. You can listen to one of the tracks by Ink Midget above.
8.5.2012 Exit Bratislava compilation out on iTunes and Beatport
The compilation Exit Bratislava – Near Dark and Beyond is now officially available on iTunes and Beatport.
Discover Slovakia’s capital city’s dark & emerging electronic music scene. These songs hand-picked by L.A. based electronic artist Carmen Rizzo, released under a label partnership of his Electrofone Music with Bratislava based Exitab Label and Brainzone International, deliver a wide range of “the new and upcoming”.
Though they all come from small scene of, you might say, “where-the-hell-is-this” city their music is at least equally interesting as artists they already supported: Teebs, Bibio, Jamie Woon, Emeralds, Dam Mantle etc. Recent years brought new wave of upcoming talents from Central and Eastern Europe and this is yet another example. From hard to define genre fusions, to post-dubstep, to recent club vibes this record gives the listening a mesmerizing journey beneath the city which is defintelely worth exploring…if not physically then at least sonically.

18.4.2012 Brainzone’s first release outside of Czech republic
Great news! Brainzone has signed a collaboration with Los Angeles based Electrofone Music and Bratislava’s Exitab Label to release a compilation of emerging electronic music from Slovakia. The compilation is called Exit Bratislava – Near Dark and Beyond and it will contain ten tracks recorded by the Exitab artists. The digital release in the USA is scheduled for 8th May 2012. 10.11.2011 Kari Kimmel signed with Brainzone
Brainzone International has signed a licensing deal with American singer and songwriter Kari Kimmel who has recently released a new album “Go” in the USA. The deal entitles Brainzone to represent the LA based artist in the European territory.
Kari Kimmel is an extremely gifted songwriter and singer whose music has been placed in over 150 films and TV shows including Gilmore Girls or Grey’s Anatomy. To watch her latest placement, scroll down to the bottom of the article. Apart from sync licenses, Kari’s songs have been recorded by artists such as Kesha and Backstreet Boys.
Her lates CD titled “Go” has already generated a great deal of interest in the US media and Brainzone is therefore excited to promote the album on the European Market.
